How do you get film pictures on your computer?

There are multiple ways for getting your film pictures on the computer.

  • Scan your negatives using a negative scanner.
  • Scan your prints with a photo scanner.
  • Get your pictures on CD from wherever you get your film processed and/or printed.
  • Take a picture of your prints with a digital camera. [Not recommended, but if there’s no other way, you gotta do what you gotta do.]

See also ‘How much does it cost to process and print film?’, ‘Where can I buy film?’ and ‘Can I scan my own negatives?’

If you need more questions on this subject answered, just put them in my ask box.
